Privacy Policy

To help you protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used.

This notice applies to all information collected by or submitted to Melbourne Child Psychology & School Psychology Services (“MCPSPS”) via any website or URL owned or managed by us.

Use of Personal Information for Targeted Advertising and Measurement of Advertising Performance
Third party advertising service providers, including but not limited to Facebook and Google, may use cookies, web beacons, and other storage technologies to collect or receive information from this website and elsewhere on the internet and use that information to provide advertising measurement services and to display targeted ads.

For example, if you browse a web page on the topic of “Service ABC” on our website, then you might later see an advertisement from us delivered by Facebook or Google that relates to “Service ABC”.

In addition, if you contact us to request information or become a client of our service we may use your personal contact details (such as your name, address and phone number) to build “Advertising Audiences” on third party advertising services (for example Facebook or Google).

It is important to note that your personal data is firstly “hashed” (mathematically obscured) and your personal information is NOT STORED by the third party advertising service in this process.

Furthermore, this process only allows us to advertise to such audiences we create in this manner (and does not allow any third party advertisers or companies to access your personal information).

If at any time you wish to opt-out of the collection and use of information for these purposes you can:

a) contact us via our contact page to request that we do not use your data for these purposes

and

b) access a mechanism for exercising such choice via the following URL: http://www.aboutads.info/choices

Visitor information
Our web server collects anonymous statistical data for informational purposes. No attempt is made to identify visitors in this process. We use non-identifying and aggregate information to improve the design and optimisation of our website.

We use Google Analytics to measure traffic on our website. Google has their own Privacy Policy which you can review here. If you’d like to opt out of tracking by Google Analytics, visit the Google Analytics opt-out page.

Cookies

We use cookies and/or similar technologies to analyze customer behavior, administer the website, track users’ movements, and to collect information about users. This is done in order to personalize and enhance your experience with us.

A cookie is a tiny text file stored on your computer. Cookies store information that is used to help make sites work. Only we can access the cookies created by our website. You can control your cookies at the browser level. Choosing to disable cookies may hinder your use of certain functions.

We use cookies for the following purposes:

  • Necessary cookies – these cookies are required for you to be able to use some important features on our website, such as logging in. These cookies don’t collect any personal information.
  • Functionality cookies – these cookies provide functionality that makes using our service more convenient and makes providing more personalized features possible. For example, they might remember your name and e-mail in comment forms so you don’t have to re-enter this information next time when commenting.
  • Analytics cookies – these cookies are used to track the use and performance of our website and services
  • Advertising cookies – these cookies are used to deliver advertisements that are relevant to you and to your interests. In addition, they are used to limit the number of times you see an advertisement. They are usually placed to the website by advertising networks with the website operator’s permission. These cookies remember that you have visited a website and this information is shared with other organizations such as advertisers. Often targeting or advertising cookies will be linked to site functionality provided by the other organization.
